Receiving Inspection and Storage

Products are typically delivered on pallets or otherwise suitable for handling with forklifts or pallet trucks. Packaging is designed to withstand transport and site storage in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.

After delivery, the customer is responsible for immediate protection. Packaging materials are not sufficient against weather or site conditions.

Check:

  • Number of packages
  • Condition of packaging
  • Glass integrity

Document any damage:

  • Take photos
  • Record in delivery note

Transport company is not liable for unrecorded damage.
Always lift using proper supports – never directly with slings.

Store:

  • On level surface

Fire-rated windows are sensitive to UV exposure.

Store upright, not leaning.

Do not install before interior concrete work is completed and dried.

Do not use windows as passageways for:

  • Materials
  • Cables or hoses

Support remaining units when unpacking.

Supplier is not responsible for construction-related damage.

Pallets are not designed for lifting.
